Mia-Platform mentioned in the 2025 Gartner® Reference Architecture Brief: Infrastructure Platform Engineering

06 October 2025 – Mia-Platform has been mentioned in the 2025 Gartner® Reference Architecture Brief: Infrastructure Platform Engineering, 2025, by Lucas Albuquerque, in the Catalog Access category.

According to Gartner, “Infrastructure platform engineering (IPE) enables I&O teams to deliver scalable, self-service infrastructure resources in a standardized, user-friendly manner. This reference architecture brief presents to infrastructure platform engineers the key components necessary for successful IPE initiatives”.

In the brief, it is stated that “since one of the IPE goals is reducing the cognitive load of technical teams through self-service interfaces, platform teams must invest in offering intuitive methods for catalog access. Although the use of web portals has gained traction lately thanks to open-source initiatives like Backstage, the selection of the ideal catalog access method must consider the target audience and alternative consumption methods”.
