Mia-Platform has been mentioned in the Gartner® Report “Adapt Platform Engineering to Enable AI-Native Software Development”, 2026 by Gary Olliffe, Roy Triesscheijn, and Richard Watson as Application platform technologies.
According to the Gartner® report, Application platform technologies are “typically used to provide automations and abstractions that simplify the use of cloud or self-managed compute infrastructure, such as Kubernetes”.
Gartner also recommends starting with a set of platform capabilities that have been established and proven by at least one development team, where possible. You must still assess how well these capabilities meet the needs of other potential platform consumers, and plan for any changes necessary to make the platform viable for broader adoption.
