Mia-Platform mentioned in the 2025 Gartner® Hype Cycle™ for Application Architecture and Integration

06 August 2025 – Mia-Platform has been mentioned in the 2025 Gartner® Hype Cycle™ for Application Architecture and Integration by Andrew Comes and Wei Jin as a Sample Vendor for the Digital Integration Hub category.

According to the Gartner report, “A digital integration hub (DIH) offers fast, high-volume API and event data access by consolidating and syncing multiple app sources into a data layer. It ensures scalable, 24/7 access, lightens systems-of-record (SORs) workloads, and boosts business agility, enhancing analytics, integration and composition”.

Additionally, the report states that “Digital initiatives use APIs and events to access core app data and logic. Traditional application integration approaches of directly connecting every request to the back-end application can struggle with performance, scalability and availability due to SOR overload. A DIH offers a popular alternative, enhancing business agility and resolving these challenges”.

“DIHs offer a more responsive experience than direct SOR access, reducing access fees and scaling costs by minimizing API calls to SaaS and legacy apps. They enable 24/7 operations, independent of SOR availability, and enhance business agility by decoupling the API layer. DIHs keep data current for analytics, notifications and integration”.
