Mia-Platform mentioned in the Gartner® Hype Cycle for Cloud Platform Services, 2025

12 June 2025 – Mia-Platform has been mentioned in the Gartner Hype Cycle for Cloud Platform Services, by Prasanna Lakshmi Narasimha, Tigran Egiazarov as one of the Sample Vendors for Frontend Cloud. The analysis was conducted by Tigran Egiazarov, Irina Guseva, Mike Lowndes.

According to the report, “Front-end cloud provides cloud-based application platforms and services tailored for front-end and full-stack development, offering tools for building, testing and deploying web applications efficiently. Key features include serverless function support, scaling, global content delivery, Git integration, built-in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and enhanced security measures to facilitate and secure web development”.

In the document, Gartner explains that “Front-end cloud enables modern web development by offering deployment, global scalability and performance benefits. It simplifies workflows with automated builds, serverless functions and real-time analytics, compared to directly using cloud providers. It enables developers to focus on code and user experience rather than infrastructure, which may reduce costs and accelerate project timelines. However, front-end cloud may come with a cost penalty in the long run, compared to directly using the capabilities of major cloud providers.

Front-end cloud changes the way organizations build and deploy modern application stacks — such as Next.js and Nuxt — by providing higher-level infrastructure abstraction functionality as a service that makes the development process simpler. Fast time to value and rapid prototyping enable organizations to deliver new capabilities, run proofs of concept and build applications with modern user interfaces”.
